Who can come?
Kid's Summer Serve is for the community! Invite your neighbor's kids from 3 y/o-5th grade! We would love for them to join us!
Can my middle schooler come?
Middle School and High Schoolers can join us as volunteers. You will sign them up on the same form.
Can I volunteer?
Yes, depending on our need for volunteers. All volunteers will have to do a background screening before being a volunteer. Reach out to us here.
What will kid's be doing?
Kids will be learning about different local non-profits from their representatives, and doing projects that will help them learn about the mission of those non-profits. Kids will also learn about the value of service and why it's important. Plus lots of art, fun, and singing!
What non-profits will kids be learning about?
We are still in the planning process. But we hope that kids might learn about the awesome non-profits that exist here in Alamance County. We are hoping to invite Habitat for Humanity of Alamance County, Benevolence Farm, and Transcend Alamance among the few. Once we have confirmation we will update this information.
